GEMFLOW

Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026

In short: the Gemflow app works entirely on your phone. It reads incoming-call details and your contacts only to show who is calling on the glow screen, and none of that ever leaves your device. We have no accounts, no ads and no analytics. If you join our waitlist, we keep your email address so we can tell you when Gemflow launches. We never sell anything about you.

Who we are

Gemflow (“we”, “us”) makes the Gemflow app and this website, gemflowcrystal.com. Gemflow is operated by Jun Hu, a sole trader in Victoria, Australia (ABN 69 407 703 526). You can reach us at hello@gemflowcrystal.com.

The website and waitlist

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

We do not ask for your name, and we do not use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this website.

How we use your email

We use your email address only to let you know when Gemflow launches, and occasionally to share a major product update. Every email will include a simple way to opt out.

Where waitlist data is stored

Waitlist entries are stored in a Google Sheet in our Google account, protected by Google’s security. Our website is hosted on GitHub Pages, and our domain and email forwarding are handled by Cloudflare. Like any web host, these providers may briefly process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the site. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them. Each provider handles such data under its own privacy policy.

The Gemflow app

The app shows living gemstone light as your wallpaper, while you breathe, and when your phone rings. It has no sign-in and no user accounts, and it contains no advertising or analytics tools. We, the developers, receive no personal information from the app.

What the app accesses, and why

Call glow is optional. The app asks for the permissions below only when you turn it on, and you can turn any of them off in your phone’s settings at any time. The rest of the app keeps working without them.

Caller numbers and contact names are used only to draw the glow screen. They are never stored, logged, copied or sent anywhere, and they disappear when the call ends.

What stays on your phone

The app saves a few settings on your device: your chosen gemstone, which stones you have unlocked, and your breathing preferences (session length and, if you use “follow my breath”, your average breathing pace). If Android backup is turned on, your phone may include these settings in your own Google account backup, so they come back when you set up a new phone. We cannot see that backup.

Purchases

Unlocking gemstones is handled by Google Play. Google processes the payment under its own privacy policy, and we never see your card or payment details. The app only receives a confirmation of which stones you own, so it can restore them on a new phone.

Internet access

The app connects to the internet only through Google Play, to check and confirm purchases. Your call information, contacts and settings are never sent over the internet.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not share it with anyone except the service providers named above, or where the law requires us to.

How long we keep your email

We keep your email address until Gemflow launches and for as long as you remain subscribed to updates. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we will remove it promptly.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you. Just write to hello@gemflowcrystal.com and we will respond within 30 days. Everything the app saves lives on your phone, so uninstalling Gemflow deletes it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Gemflow is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has joined our waitlist, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above. If a change affects how we use your email address, we will tell you by email first.
